    The Annual Welcome to the Woods event is within Seminole State Forest.

  • Come join us for the 2013 Annual Welcome to the Woods and an opportunity to discover all you can do at Seminole State Forest Wildlife Management Area. Space is limited to the first 80 reservations. 9:00am – 2:00pm

  • Directions to Bear Lake From Pensacola: Take I-10 east to Avalon Blvd. (Exit 22). Follow Avalon Blvd. north to US 90, then take a right. Follow US 90 to Stewart Street (Hwy 87). Turn north on Stewart St. to Munson Hwy. (Hwy. 191) across from Milton High School. Follow Munson Hwy. approximately 20 miles northeast to Munson. Turn right on Hwy. 4 and follow approximately 2 miles to the Bear Lake Campground sign. Turn left and follow signs to parking area.
    The Bear Lake Trail Challenge is within Blackwater River State Forest.

  • A challenging, fun, 4-mile loop trail through varying terrain to end the spring season! A family-oriented picnic and the annual Pensacola Runners Association (PRA) meeting will precede the awards ceremony. Door prizes and entertainment will also be included.
